This game is developed and operated by the Zanshin development team. As we do not process large volumes of personal data, we have not appointed a formal Data Protection Officer (DPO); however, the contact above is monitored and all requests are handled with full compliance intent.
By accessing zanshin-game.com or launching the Zanshin client, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please uninstall the client and discontinue use of the website.
Players are expected to maintain honour in combat and respect within the community. The following are expressly prohibited:

All game assets including 3D models, animations, audio, UI design, code architecture, and branding are the intellectual property of the Zanshin development team. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use without explicit written permission is prohibited.
We aim to maintain server uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows will be announced in advance via Discord whenever possible. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime or server instability.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be announced in our Discord server and reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the game after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Subject to your compliance with this EULA, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play Zanshin on personal computing devices that you own or control. The blade is yours to wield — the forge belongs to us.

Offline modding may be permitted in designated modes in future updates with explicit developer approval.
Zanshin and all copies thereof are licensed, not sold. All title and intellectual property rights in and to the game remain with the Zanshin development team. You acquire no ownership interest through this license.
This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this EULA will terminate automatically and without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the game in your possession.
Zanshin is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the game will be error-free or that defects will be corrected. Your use of the game is at your sole risk.

All ban decisions are final unless appealed within 14 days through the #appeals channel in Discord.
To report a violation, use the in-game report system or post in the #reports channel on Discord with evidence. Reports are reviewed within 48 hours. False reports submitted in bad faith may result in action against the reporting party.
